I have a confession. Well maybe not exactly a confession but I’m going to share something about me that maybe you didn’t know. I am addicted. To books. There I said it. And I couldn’t be prouder.
Books have always been a HUGE part of me. Growing up, my book collection was so very prized…more so than my Cabbage Patch doll collection. So it came as no surprise that my boys would inherit the “book” gene….of course helped along by my taking them to book stores and libraries when they were practically born. Books entertain, feed the imagination and make memories. And that my McFriends is simply wonderful.

Who Doesn’t Love Jimmy Dean?
I certainly do! That name alone conjures up a big, delicious country breakfast…sausage, eggs, bacon, potatoes, ham, biscuits….YUM!
At my Halloween party this year, one of my friends brought a dip that my husband DEVOURED. And so I asked what the recipe was…and she told me several ingredients…but the only one I could remember was Jimmy Dean Sausage. I went to the Jimmy Dean website and I think the recipe she made was the Zesty Fiesta Sausage Dip. Jimmy Dean sent me some free coupons so I’m going to make it and have my husband be judge!!

ohmigosh, this is the most perfect giveaway for me. Don't judge me and by unhealthy habits, but Dean's French Onion Dip is seriously one of my most favorite foods on earth. My husband and I can go through a large container of it in one day. ONE DAY! Looooooove me some Dean's french onion dip!!! :)
I've never had Dean's so I can't choose a favorite! They all sound yummy :)

Of my three children, only one is not a teenager, so I'm hanging on to fun, make-believe traditions as long as I can ... and this freaky elf would be perfect!
In our house, the day after Thanksgiving is alot of fun. Forget shopping on Black Friday! We (including the grandparents) decorate our house and tree. And with a stash of egg nog and Asti Spumante, this is a pretty good time! ;o) My husband and I were each given our childhood ornaments when we got married. So many memories ... makes for funny conversations, no doubt. We are doing the same with our children some day ... with hopes they, too, will carry on this tradition.
